Summer in Taos Ski Valley is full of outdoor activities, small-town festivals, breathtaking scenery and perfect weather. Join us this summer for one of the following events and you will not be disappointed!

JUNE

NOW: With a wet spring and a lot of runoff, now is the best time to raft the Rio Grande River. Lodging rates >

JULY

WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH: Forth of July Celebration with a small town parade, music and rubber duck race. Lodging rates >

AUGUST

SATURDAY, AUGUST 25th: Up & Over Trail Run. A trail run loop up and over the Taos Ski Valley mountain. The race starts and finishes at an elevation of 9,200 feet. There is an elevation gain of 2,612 feet in the first three miles. Lodging rates >

SEPTEMBER

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD: Labor Day Brewfest & Chili Cook-Off. Taste and vote for your favorite chili at the First Annual Chili Cook-Off. Summer brewfest will have numerous micro brews to sample and you can dance it all off at the evening Barn Dance. Special package >

SATURDAY, EARLY-SEPTEMBER: Gateway Disc Sports Tournament. An amateur disc golf tournament with five categories for play. For more information call Mitch at 505-776-1360. Lodging rates >

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 15TH: Oktoberfest & Sidewalk Sale. Join us for a small-town version of the famous German celebration. The event includes authentic German dancers, Oompah band and beer. Lodging rates >

LATE SEPTEMBER: Fall foliage. Fall is when the air is crisp and the aspen trees turn to a golden color. Fall in Taos Ski Valley provides an ideal time for hiking and photography. Lodging rates >

SEPTEMBER 22ND - 23RD: Frazier Mountain Madness Mountain Bike Challenge. The signature event is a 5.5 mile hill climb that climbs 2,800 feet to 12,131 foot Frazier Mountain. The weekend will also include an adult and youth cross country race. Music from Wendy Woo and the Woo Crew on Saturday. Lodging rates >
